Began erecting the tub this week. Built the rear standards which incorporated the leveling jacks. These jacks rise to 48" so I'll have about 8" to use once deployed. I'll build a couple extensions if and when the need arises.
The crank handle will be cut off and replaced with a lug nut. That way if my battery drill dies or I forget to pack it I can use my folding T-wrench which I always carry.

Dec 27, 2012It actually looks like a trailer now. Finished attaching the tub walls and rim yesterday. The sides are really steady. I stood on the front reaching something in the rafters so I think it'll be more than strong enough for the tent.
As for the floor, I'll have to get a new sheet of something. The aluminum diamond plate I have is 1" too short so I'll put it back in the old trailer since I'm keeping it as a general utility trailers.
Next up, the fenders. I'll also reassemble the rear jacks this week. I'm waiting on the tailgate until the floor is in place since it affects the height.
